Who We Are

Our Mission
To inspire and enable all young people especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester help members build self esteem by incorporating a proven youth development strategy in all of our programs and services.

This strategy instills:

• A sense of competence — feeling that there is something every member can do well.
• A sense of usefulness — the opportunity to do something of value for other people.
• A sense of belonging — in a setting where members know they are welcome and accepted.
• A sense of power or influence — a chance to be heard and to help influence decisions.

General Policies

Membership
Membership runs from July 1 through June 30, and is open to all children up to age 18.

Card Fees

• $50 per child in Mt. Kisco
• $35 per child in Yorktown
• $5 per child in Tarrytown
• $5 fee for lost cards

All members MUST scan in at the front desk.

House Rules

• Treat others as you wish to be treated
• Remove head gear in building
• Appropriate language and physical contact
• No children under six allowed in the Games Room, Computer Labs and Art Room

Calendar
Programs are scheduled in five nine-week segments consisting of: Fall, Late Fall, Early Spring, Spring and Summer. Read the full calendar.

Registration Hours
Monday through Friday: 9am - 6pm
(Hours apply only during registration dates listed.)

No registrations will be accepted by telephone.
There will be a $25 service charge for all checks returned.

Pre-registration is for those already enrolled in the previous segment. They may register for the same class (day and time) they are enrolled in now. If your child has advanced in class, he/she may register for the next level at this time.

Open Registration is on a first come, first served basis.

All participants in Boys & Girls Clubs programs must be members of the Club. Registration is conducted on a first come, first served basis. There are a limited number of spaces available in each program, so please register early. A $20 Administration Fee will be charged for changes after you register, including changing or withdrawal from class.
