BGCNW's 17th Annual Humanitarian Dinner – "Get Smart" raises over $350,000

Mount Kisco, NY (July 12, 2011) - The Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester's 17th annual Humanitarian Award Dinner honored David and Holly Singer of Bedford Hills. The Singers were recognized for their many years of outstanding service and dedication. Keeping with the theme for this year's dinner, "Get Smart, Get Involved," Barbara Feldon, Agent 99 of the original Get Smart television series, was a featured guest, as well as Billy Baldwin, who served as this year's Auctioneer.

The annual fundraising event, with more than 350 in attendance, raised $360,000 for the "Positive Place for Kids." The proceeds go directly to enhance the Club's program and services for more than 2,000 youth members. Awards were presented to the Humanitarians of the Year, as well as Jason Distant, a Club member who received BGCNW's 2011 Youth of the Year award.

Lexus of Mt. Kisco generously donated their venue for the Humanitarian dinner. This year's Humanitarian Award Dinner Co-Chairs were Muffin Dowdle of Pound Ridge and Renee Torre of South Salem. The Dinner's Sub-Committee Co-Chairs were Linda Mahon of Mt. Kisco, Seema Boesky of Mt. Kisco, Stacey Cohen of Mt. Kisco, Kat McKee of Stamford CT, and Bonnie Trotta of Mt. Kisco.
