BGCNW Announces Board Member To Take Position Of Secretary

Mt. Kisco, NY (December 22, 2010) – The Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester has elected Heidi Johnston, a current Board of Directors member, to the position of Secretary. The announcement was made by Brian Skanes, Executive Director for the Club.
Heidi B. Johnston is owner of The Yellow Monkey in Cross River, NY, which specializes in antiques, custom furnishings and accessories, garden ornaments, and one-of-a-kind items from around the world. Prior to The Yellow Monkey, Mrs. Johnston was Vice President of Design and Marketing for Scalamandre Silks and President of Baranzelli Silk Surplus. In addition to her board position at The Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester, Mrs. Johnston is also involved with the Westchester Land Trust. She received an Associate's Degree in Interior Design fron Rhode Island School of Design. Mrs. Johnston resides in Cross River, NY with her husband and their two children.
