Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester Receives $10,000 Donation From Commerce Bank.

Mount Kisco, New York (2/10/05) — Commerce Bank presented a $10,000 donation to The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester in an effort to introduce the new Mt. Kisco store. Similar donations have been made to non-profit organizations in each of the Westchester communities, including Mamaroneck and Port Chester, where Commerce Bank celebrated store openings.

John Tolomer, Westchester County Market Manager for Commerce Bank, said the bank prides itself in being a member of the community. "It is important for us to demonstrate our desire to be involved with the community," he said.

Tolomer said Commerce Bank selected The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester because they do great work. "I thought it was the natural choice," he said.

Brian Skanes, Executive Director of The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester, said the donation will be added to the scholarship fund. "We're glad to get the donation," he said. "It will help a lot of kids come to the various programs we offer."
