Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester Partner with Dannon

Mount Kisco, NY, August 10, 2006 — The Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester recently partnered with The Dannon Company, Inc., which is committed to helping families live happier, healthier lives, to bring Club members a fun-filled afternoon emphasizing the importance of nutrition and exercise. Staff from both organizations joined forces to teach the children active outdoor games for personal fitness. The Club's younger campers enjoyed a healthy indoor exercise activity.

"The Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester is a fantastic organization with a good management team and beautiful facility," said Michael J. Neuwirth, Senior Director of Public Relations, The Dannon Company. "We are delighted to team up with the Club and work with these energetic kids."

To reward an afternoon of hard work as temperatures neared 100 degrees, campers celebrated their success with a yogurt sundae party. Each child chose his or her favorite toppings to add to a bowl of low-fat yogurt. In addition to complimentary yogurt and bottled water, Dannon also provided a tote bag with pencils, stickers, a frisbee, and a family activity page for each child.

An afternoon of rigorous activity requires proper refreshment. Dannon supplied ice cold water bottles to all Boys & Girls Club campers.
