Keeping Chris Cutri's Scholarship Dream Alive - Event Honoring His Memory to Raise Funds for Scholarship
Mt. Kisco, NY (November 15, 2006) – The Friends of Chris Cutri will host an event to honor his memory and raise funds for his memorial scholarship on Wednesday, November 22 at Teddy's, Holiday Inn Drive in Mt. Kisco at 8:00 p.m.
The scholarship was established in 2001 to honor the life and wishes of Chris Cutri, son of the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester's Director of Operations Barbara Cutri and her husband Tony.
The funds raised will be distributed to children with learning or behavioral disability in financial need who portray a positive attitude, integrity and sportsmanship as Chris did. The funds will go directly to the cost for the youths' after school program at the Boys & Girls Club in Mt. Kisco.
"We would like to thank the community and Chris' friends for supporting this great cause and keeping his memory alive," said Barbara Cutri.
A suggested donation of $25 per guest will be collected upon arrival. Additional donations can be brought to the event or sent to the Club via email to bgcnskanes@aol.com. Please include your name, address and email and an invoice will be sent to collect a donation via credit card. Please make checks payable to "BGCNW Chris Cutri Memorial Scholarship."
