Trump's Not the Only One with Apprentices.
The Job Shadow Project is part of the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester Wilfred Jennings Summer Leadership program. This component was developed to help identify potential career choices through collaboration. The focus is to link teenagers with community organizations and businesses to better prepare them for the job market.
Northern Westchester Hospital's Chef Jerome Brown (of Mt. Vernon) teaches Club Members Vinny Gilberti (of Carmel), left, and Jourdan Davis (of Mt. Kisco) how to make various dishes in the hospital cafeteria. Local businesses, including Wallach & Rendo Attorneys at Law in Mt. Kisco, O'Brien Architecture in Bedford, and Co-Communications, Inc. in Mt. Kisco, also hosted apprentices for the five-week program. Under the supervision of Teen Program Director Jean-Pierre LaCour, Club Members Ika Mita, Brianna Flynn, Ashley Villman, Anastasia Dimanche, Bryan Polso, Diana Taopante, Biya Teti and Aishlee Velez also participated.
