Please enjoy these animated films created by Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester members in the Jacob Burns Film Center's animator-in-residency program, Animation: Minds in Motion! Students spent twelve two-hour sessions creatively brainstorming their story, creating a storyboard, paper cut-outs, calculating frame rates, recording sound and animating the film in small collaborative groups. The films were premiered at a red carpet event at the Jacob Burns Film Center! www.burnsfilmcenter.org

New York Knick's Nate Robinson has been a familiar face around the Boys & Girls Club this past year. In December of 2006, he sponsored a holiday party for our Tarrytown Center, complete with gifts and food for our members and their families. This past August, he conducted his inaugural Skillz & Drillz Basketball Camp in the David Feldman Memorial Gym at the Boys & Girls Club in Mt. Kisco for two weeks at the end of the summer. In exchange for the use of the gym space, 50 Club members attended the Camp free of charge.
"Coach Nate", assisted by his good friend and high school teammate, David Hudson, developed a model that combined excellent coaching and a focus on giving individual attention to each camper. The Camp, which focused on improving shooting, rebounding, ball handling, defense and team building skills, was attended by more than 140 area youth. Click here for the story on the NBA website.
